In 2nd August 2003, the Census and Statistics Department has revealed the value of manufacturers' orders-on-hand for local production in August 2003. Comparing August 2003 with August 2002, the value of manufacturers' orders-on-hand for local production decreased by 9%, while the value of orders-on-hand in the printing and publishing industry increased by 2%。
